Merlinum Forklift AB was founded in 2013 by the Andersson family. With extensive experience in forklift development, they aimed to build a new company from scratch, focusing on developing modern, high-quality trucks. After careful consideration, they decided to go all-in on electric forklifts – a choice they are still very pleased with today.
Back in 2013, fossil fuels powered nearly all forklifts, but over the years, Merlinum has witnessed the shift towards electric solutions.
“Companies are becoming more environmentally conscious and are required to reduce emissions. In this case, switching to an electric forklift is a relatively easy choice. And once they’ve tried it, they discover all the other benefits that electric power brings,” says Martin Andersson, co-owner and founder of Merlinum Forklift AB.
The electric drive works well because the trucks operate within a limited area and can be driven until the battery is completely empty before needing to recharge. This ensures maximum uptime and minimises the need for planned charging stops. Merlinum’ s forklifts are energy-efficient and provide an excellent working environment for the driver: quiet operation and zero harmful emissions.
