As of April 1st, HydraSpecma has acquired Stavanger-based Hyco AS, strengthening its technical capabilities and local presence in Norway. The acquisition supports HydraSpecma’s ambition to become the preferred partner for advanced industrial solutions across the Nordic region.

Since acquiring Specma Group in 2016, HydraSpecma has established Denmark, Sweden, and Finland as core markets. With Hyco AS, Norway now becomes a prioritised home market completing HydraSpecma’s Nordic platform. The acquisition reflects increasing demand for integrated hydraulic and software-driven solutions in the Norwegian industrial sector.

Hyco AS brings strong capabilities in hydraulic system design and software programming and is a long-standing integration partner of Danfoss Power Solutions. These capabilities complement HydraSpecma’s existing Nordic setup and strengthen its ability to deliver integrated, high-value solutions to customers.

With the acquisition, HydraSpecma will serve the Norwegian market from facilities in Kleppe near Stavanger (former Hyco), Flekkefjord, and Kristiansand – strengthening local presence and customer proximity.
