Reduction - 1/2" BSP x 3/8" BSP female - WD seal

Thread reducer for adapting between two BSPP (Whitworth parallel) thread sizes in hydraulic pipework. One side has a G 1/2 male thread and the other side has a G 3/8 female thread, allowing a larger BSPP connection to be reduced to a smaller BSPP port or line.

Sealing is made with a WD profile sealing ring in NBR, providing a defined sealing interface for the adapter. The body is zinc-nickel plated for surface protection and is specified for pressures up to 630 bar within a temperature range of -35 to +100 °C.

Typical Applications
  • Reducing a BSPP connection size in hydraulic lines and manifolds
  • Adapting between components with G 1/2 and G 3/8 BSPP ports
