Danfoss Orbital X replaces Danfoss OMR. Due to a unique modular platform and a "shape & fit" with the O-Series, Orbital X can replace existing O-Series engines in applications with these. Orbital X has an improved performance that reduces the "total cost of ownership".
Orbital X provides up to 15% higher torque than previous versions of OMR. Stronger bearing capacity that withstands higher radial loads in the application. All motors have an improved HPS shaft seal, 225 bar. All motors have the option of a drain connection. All engines have check valves. OMR-X is a high-end hydraulic motor in its own category. High and consistent quality means the engine is built for demanding applications, long service life and exceptionally high efficiency over the service life.
If the need for application or financial reasons is not necessarily high-end, we can recommend choosing alternatives from Danfoss' Value Line where the engine types WP (OMP) and WR (OMR) are extremely sensible alternatives.
