Characteristics: Flexible steam hose. Are mainly used for steam up to +210°C. Steam is dangerous. Thus HydraSpecma A/S has published a brief guidance (no. 9), regarding selecting steam hoses.
Construction: Red mandrel-built high pressure steam hose with steel reinforcements. The hose are marked: MTG Soffione/17 210°C 410°F 17 Atm 250 Psi. Outer rubber layer perforated.
Material: Inside black EPDM rubber. Outside red EPDM rubber. This rubber type has resistance to high temperatures, weather and Ozone. Oil-containing corrosion protective media must not be used with this hose. Emptying the hoses for condensed steam, prolonges the lifetime of the hoses.
