Areas of use: Jet fuel (JET A1), petrol, unleaded petrol, petroleum, paraffin, lubricating oil.
Characteristics: Specially well-suited for jet fuel (JET A 1) and are used as hydrant- and dispenser hose. Also well-suited for use with other mineral oil products as petrol (also unleaded), diesel, petroleum, paraffin and lubricating oil. Meets the specifications in the European standard EN 1361 (BS 3158), API 1529 C, NFPA 407, AS 2683 and the German safety-regulation TRbF 131.
Construction: Mandrel-built wear-resistant hose, reinforced with two braided layers of high tensile textile without metallic reinforcements. Electrical discharge via the outer rubber layer. Electrical resistance is between 1000 to 10 Mohm, when the couplings are correct mounted onto the hose. We recommend the use of Elaflex couplings with Spannfix- or Spannloc-ferrules. Marked with yellow rings and continpusly stamped sith hose type, dimension, pressure and production date. On request also available with yellow flouroscent rings. This minimizes the risk of over-running the hose in the dark.
Material: Inside anti-static black synthetic Nitrile-rubber (NBR), well-suited for all types of Jet fuel (JET A 1) and other mineral oil products. Outside black synthetic wear-resistant Chloroprene-rubber (CR), weather-, flame- and oil-resistant. Acc. to the BS-standard, these hoses must always be plugged during storage. We also recommend to flush the hoses with JET A 1 during longer periods of storage, in order to remove possible contamination particles.
Couplings: If the hose are supplied for Jet fuel (JET A 1), we use tin-plated brass couplings.
