Elaflex universal chemic. hose type UTS

Areas of use: Industrial chemicals, mineral oil products, solvents, acids, alkalis.

Characteristics: Well suited for approx. 98% of all known industrial chemicals as mineral oil products, solvents, acids and alkalis. Clean with steam max. +130°C in about 30 minutes pr. day (remember open hose end!). Given that the inner material is not harmed (scratched) by the steam hose, and that soft steam spray are used. Reeling must not take place until the hose and the couplings are colled down to approx. +20°C. Using steam for cleaning the hoses, always reduces the lifetime of the hose.

Temperature range: The maximum allowable temperature must be reduced depedent of the material. Contact Hydra HydraSpecma for further information.

Construction: Mandrel-built wear-resistant hose. Smooth inside and outside. For suction- and pressure purposes (type UTS) or pressure purpose alone (type UTD). With braided reinforcements of synthetic yarns with woven-in tin-plated copper wires and steel-spiral between layers (type UTS). Electrical discharge through the conductive inner and outer rubber layers, R are less than or equal to 10 Mohm. Hereby connection of the metallic wires are not necessary. We recommend that you use Elaflex couplings with Spannfix- or Spannloc ferrules. Marked with blue and white rings and continously marked with hose type, dimension, pressure and date of production.

Materials: Inside: Ultra high molecular Polyethylene (U-PE), white and smooth, smudging free and electrical conductive. Outside: EPDM rubber, black, smooth, electrical conductive, ozone-, UV- and flame-resistant. Meets the safety demands acc. to DIN 2823, EN 12115 and TRbF 131.

Couplings: The inside layer af the hose is of Polyethylene with a hardness of approx. 95° shore. Of security reasons, we recommend that you always use Elaflex couplings with Spannloc- or Spannfix ferrules.
