Reduction - 1/2" BSP x 3/8" BSP female - WD seal
Thread reducer for adapting between two BSPP (Whitworth parallel) thread sizes in hydraulic and fluid power pipework. The fitting converts from a G 1/2 male connection to a G 3/8 female port, using a WD profile sealing ring to provide sealing at the interface.
Specified for working pressures up to 630 bar and for use within a temperature range of -35 to +100 °C. Zinc-nickel plated surface treatment and an NBR sealing element are specified for the sealing system.
Typical Applications
- Reducing thread size between BSPP ports and components in hydraulic lines
- Repairs or system modifications where a G 3/8 female port must be connected to a G 1/2 male thread
