Characteristics: "Long life service" heater hose for water-cooled engines. Silicone heater hoses has extremely good durability and are very slowly aged, even when exposed to high temperaturs from both engine and cooling water. Compared to ordinary heater hoses in rubber, this means fewer numbers of replacements or repairs. Silicone rubber are also very cold-resistant and their flexibility remains even at temperatures down to -54°C. The burst pressure mentioned, meets SAE J20R3.
Construction: Extruded hose with reinforcement layers of Nylon.
Material: Inside and outside synthetic silicone-rubber (Q). Very heat- and Ozone-resistant. Also resistant to cooling detergents as Glycol. Outside resistant to light exposure from lubricating oils.
Hose clamps: Do not use hose clamps with holes in the band!.
Recommended working pressure: 25% of burst pressure.
