Electronic closed loop position control EHC.
EHC is used for the positioning of an actuator in a closed loop control system. The set-point signal is an analogue voltage signal from e.g. a remote control lever. A position transducer on the actuator provides the feedback signal (position signal). EHC compares the set-point signal with the feedback signal and adjusts the oil flow, via the PVG proportional valve, so that the actuator position corresponds to the set-point signal. This means that the actuator shaft or piston rod is moved into and kept in the position corresponding to the controlling movement of the remote control lever.
