Main sliders with linear characteristics have less deadband than standard sliders and a completely proportional relationship between the control signal and the oil flow in the area outside the deadband.
!!PVBS with linear characteristic must not be used with PVEM electrical actuation devices. The interaction between the sliders' small deadband area and the PVEM actuator's hysteresis of 20% means that there is a risk of building up an LS pressure with the sliders in neutral position.
