HydraSpecma expands its footprint in Norway with the acquisition of Agder Slangeservice AS, reinforcing its position as a leading Nordic supplier of hydraulic and electrification solutions.
HydraSpecma has acquired the Norwegian company Agder Slangeservice AS, strengthening its presence in the Nordic region. Based in Kristiansand, Agder Slangeservice specialises in hoses, fittings and hydraulic components for the tunnel and construction industry and has collaborated with HydraSpecma for several years.
The acquisition is a natural step in HydraSpecma’s ambition to become the preferred partner within hydraulics and electrification across the Nordics. With two sites in Norway – in Kristiansand and Flekkefjord – HydraSpecma will now offer local sales, assembly workshops and on-site service to Norwegian customers.
“With our already strong presence in Denmark, Sweden and Finland, it is natural for us to look towards Norway, where we have an ambition to bring our wide product range and excellent services to more Norwegian customers,” says Morten Kjær, Group CEO at HydraSpecma. “Agder Slangeservice and their way of working are a good match for HydraSpecma’s Nordic Division, and we look forward to welcoming our new colleagues on board.”
Agder Slangeservice will be merged into HydraSpecma Norge AS before the end of 2024. The move enhances HydraSpecma’s ability to serve both national manufacturers and the aftermarket with complete end-to-end solutions and expert hydraulic service.
