PTFE-SLANG 2801 5/8

Areas of use: Chemicals, steam, gases, oil.

Characteristics: Are used for many materials in the industry a.o. chemicals, steam and gases. Not suited for halogens, their acids and water containing alkali-metals.

Temperature range: -60°C to +260°C.

Materials: Inside: Smooth milky-white PTFE (teflon). Outside: Wirebraided stainless steel 304. Working pressures: The working pressure mentioned in the table below, are only valid at pressures up to 120°C. For temperatures higher than 120°C, the working pressure are reduced by 1% per 1°C temperature increase. Can also be supplied in anti-static version.

The are normally supplied in adjusted lengths with couplings mounted, pressure-tested and stamped with relevant informations as working pressure (WP), test pressure (TP) in bar, date, supplier etc. If needed, we can supply test pressure certificate with the hoses.
