Characteristics: Taste and smell-free PVC-hose for the food industry. The hose can be used down from +10°C and has good flexibility. Used as suction- and pressure hose for mineral water, juice, wine and vinegar and other liquid foods. Do not use this hose for fat and oil containing foods as milk, vegetable oils etc. and stimulants with an alcoholpercentage of more than 20%. Contact HydraSpecma if in doubt. Meets EEC's regulations for materials in contact with food-stuff (EEC 89/109, 90/128, 92/39).
Temperature range: +10°C to +60°C. Construction: Extrudet PVC-hose with embedded white PVC-spiral. Inside smooth and outside light corrugated.
Material: Transparent and very elastic PVC with hard white PVC-spiral, being impact-proof and rigid.
Couplings and hose clamps: See sections 0116 Hose clamps, 0202 Quick couplings and 0206 Adaptors and hose adaptors. Standard length: ID 20 - 76 mm: 50 meter. ID 90 - 127 mm: 30 meter. ID 152 mm: 20 meter. The entioned values for min. bending radius ar at +20°C. Pressure values are measured at +20°C, and are reduced with rising temperature as shown below. Working pressure must be multiplied with the factor according to the needed working temperature:
