3/8" Shuttle valve

Shuttle valve for selecting between two independent pressure lines and automatically passing the higher pressure to the outlet. This function is commonly used where a single pilot or control line must be supplied from two alternative pressure sources without backflow between the lines.

The valve has two inlet ports and one outlet port with BSP thread connections, and uses an internal ball-type shuttle element. Zinc-plated surface treatment and NBR sealing are specified for general hydraulic oil use within the stated temperature range.

Typical Applications
  • Selecting the higher of two hydraulic pressure signals for pilot/control circuits
  • Feeding one line from two alternative pressure sources while isolating the other line
