DESIGN OPTIMIZATION

In the design phase, it is important to ensure that the hydraulic pipes have the correct location and size, so that hydraulic & gear oil and coolant fluid can flow optimally. The choice of material and surface treatment depends on both the application's use and service life, and the environment in which it operates. We have extensive experience in advising on all these decisions.

NEW APPLICATION

When we deliver pipes to a new application, we look at the design to see if we can help improve it. We do not design the machine, but we share our comprehensive knowledge about pipe bending. This way our customers get the best pipes to their needs.

BENDING ROBOTS

We have extensive knowledge within, volume of, and machinery for pipe bending. We produce 900,000 bent pipes per year, mainly from our facility in the city of Tranemo near Gothenburg.

- In Tranemo we have robots for high volume production, computer-controlled CNC bending and manual bending. It allows us to supply pipes from ø5 - ø76mm in diameter in batches of up to 5,000 pipes. In addition, we have advanced test facilities where we can test the purity of the pipes and document it in accordance with ISO 4406 and ISO 16232.

The advanced equipment and extensive experience allow large quantities of pipes to be delivered with the same high quality and accurate results every time. This is one of the reasons why we have been supplying large OEM customers in commercial vehicles and the heavy industry for many years.

CUSTOM BENDED AND WELDED PIPES

Wiro AB is specialized in unique pipe solutions. Bent pipes can be delivered in a lot of different configurations according to our customers specification. Bent and welded stainless steel pipes for ex. cooling and lubrication systems can be supplied with welded fittings/pipes, T-drilled for a solid butt weld and tested by our level 2 NDT, dye penetrant and visual welding inspectors. We produce bent pipes up to 3”.
